Michael Mladjan is a Colorado artist who creates art pieces from metal, primarily steel.

His current work focuses on producing sculptural steel plants, both realistic and representational, varying in form, texture and color. Some may be whimsical while others are quite serious. As subject matter he prefers plants to animals. In addition to art, Michael has devoted most of his working life to horticulture.

He believes his art is an expression of his holistic and spiritual views of the environment and our place within it.
