by Rich Krupicka
Permanently Placed at Highway 74 and Ponderosa Drive
Rich Krupicka is a Colorado native, and Evergreen resident, who is
a self taught artist.
Rich used chain saws, grinders, mallets, hand chisels,
planes and other small tools to turn this 22 foot tall, 8000 pound, 200 year
old Ponderosa Pine into a unique work of art.
The totem pole depicts Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep which stand atop rock
out-croppings which protrude out of the tree where the knots and limbs were.
