THE HEART OF EVERGREEN SCULPTURE WALK
FOR YEAR 2009-2010
You are invited to participate in AMC's Annual Evergreen Sculpture Walk.
Up to sixteen sculptures will be displayed in historic Evergreen. Artists whose sculptures are selected for this outdoor display will receive a $500.00 honorarium and will be eligible for the People's Choice Award of $750 and a juried Sternberg Award of $1000.
The sculptures will be installed on June 6, 2009 and remain on display for one year. The AMC has sold many sculptures from previous year's Sculpture Walks and high interest indicates we will have good sales again this year.

Installation of Evergreen Sculpture Walk
Site Information:
Sites selected in the community and area surrounding Evergreen, Colorado.
Specifications:
Sculptures should be a minimum of 36 inches (in one direction) in size.
Any style, in a durable medium which can withstand the elements in our mountain environment, will be considered.
Pedestals to accommodate the size and dimensions will be provided by AMC.
Each submission must be capable of being welded to a 1/4 inch steel plate.
Bases provided by the artist in addition to the steel plate, must be approved by a committee before installation.
Any sculpture smaller than represented on the application or of poor quality will be rejected.
Contracts:
Individual contracts between theartist and AMC shall be executed before any piece is installed. Artists will be responsible for transport of their pieces to and from the exhibit.
Insurance will be covered under AMC's policy at a mutually agreed upon limit. If repairs are needed, AMC will work with the artist and be responsible for any costs incurred.
Sales: Any piece selected must be for sale. Art for the Mountain Community will handle all sales and will receive a 25% commission of the purchase price. It is understood that no work shall be removed prior to the closing of the exhibit in June, 2010. Replicas of the pieces or other pieces that are sold as a result of this exhibition will also be subject to the 25% commission.
Publicity: AMC will produce a brochure depicting each sculpture and its location on an Evergreen map. These brochures will be available in the Evergreen area. AMC will seek to bring local and Denver area media coverage to this project.
Entry:
Each artist may enter up to three works for consideration for a $10 fee.
A panel of jurors will review each entry and notify the artist of acceptance or rejection by February 18, 2009.
Please submit only digital photos on a photo cd for judging with at least two different views of each sculpture. Specifications for digital submissions are on the entry form.
Our Sculpture Walks have been extremely well received in this community and we look forward to an even better Sculpture Walk for 2009-2010.
